Florent Pagny (born 6 November 1961) is a French singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He records his work in French, as well as in Italian, Spanish and English. His greatest hits include " N'importe quoi", "Savoir aimer" and " Ma Liberté de penser"—all three were number one in France. As of 2018, he has sold more than 6 million singles and 10 million albums, becoming the 17th best-selling artist of all time in France. Early years Florent Pagny began his artistic career as an actor in popular films and television dramas. He appeared in ''La Balance'', ''L'As des as'', and ''A Captain's Honor'' or ''Fort Saganne''. In 1987, he wrote his first song titled " N'importe quoi". Pagny's first album, ''Merci'', was released in 1990. Calogero Joseph Salvatore Maurici (born 30 July 1971), better known as Calogero (; ), is a French singer. Early life Calogero was born in Échirolles, Isère, to Sicilian-born Italian parents from Sommatino, Caltanissetta, Sicily. The Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA) is the organization that represents the interests of the music, video and video game industries in Belgium. It achieved huge success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where it remained charted respectively for 84 and 64 weeks, including two weeks atop. To date it is Pagny's best-selling album, with over 1,5 million copies sold. ''Rester vrai'' is a 1994 album recorded by French singer Florent Pagny. It was his third studio album and was released in March 1994. It achieved moderate success in France where it remained charted for 39 weeks in the top 50, including a peak at #19 for two weeks. For the first time in Pagny's career, lyrics were written by other artists such as Jean-Jacques Goldman who participated under the pseudonym of Sam Brewski. This album provided two singles : the unsuccessful "Est-ce que tu me suis ?" (#45 in France) and the hit single "Si tu veux m'essayer" (#7 in France), which was recorded as "If You Want to Know Me" in 2009 by the Belgian singer Dana Winner for the album "Between Now and Tomorrow" with English lyrics by Michael Leahy. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. The National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (french: Syndicat national de l'édition phonographique; SNEP) is the inter-professional organisation that protects the interests of the French record industry.
