Tour De Lille
Tour de Lille (previously known as Tour du Crédit-Lyonnais between 1995–2006) is an office skyscraper in Euralille, the business district of the Lille metropolitan area. Designed by Christian de Portzamparc, this emblematic tower of the city of Lille is also called "the ski boot", "the flipper" or even "the L". 116 m high, with an area of 18,135 m2, it is the fifth tallest tower outside of Île-de-France behind the Tour Incity in Lyon, the Tour Part-Dieu in Lyon, the Tour CMA-CGM in Marseille and the Tour Bretagne in Nantes. The ''Tour de Lille'' overlooks the Lille-Europe station. Tour Part-Dieu
The Tour Part-Dieu (formerly Tour du Crédit Lyonnais, or colloquially Le Crayon, or The Pencil) is a skyscraper in Lyon, France. The building is tall, in La Part-Dieu district, with 42 floors. The building was completed in 1977. It currently stands as the thirteenth-tallest building in France. The top 10 floors are occupied by Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon, the highest hotel in Europe. The other floors are offices. It is a work of the American firm Araldo Cossutta & Associates and the construction occurred between 1972 and 1977. According to the wishes of the architect, the roof of this tower is roughly the same height as Notre Dame de Fourviere. At the opening in 1977, it was the 4th tallest building in France. The tower has a cylindrical shape. It is topped by a 23-metre high pyramid. On the occasion of its 31st anniversary, the tower changed its name and logo. Lille-Europe Station
Lille-Europe station (French: ''Gare de Lille-Europe'') is a SNCF railway station in Lille, France, on the LGV Nord high-speed railway. The station is primarily used for international Eurostar and long-distance SNCF TGV services, although some high-speed regional trains also call at the station. The station was built in 1993 to be used as a through station for trains between the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands, as well as French TGV services, except those coming from Paris which normally terminate at Lille-Flandres. There is a walking distance between the two stations, which are also adjacent stops on the Lille Metro. Tour Bretagne (''Brittany Tower'' in English) opened on November 18, 1976 at 17:00, is a 37-story skyscraper situated in downtown Nantes between a main thoroughfare, Cours des 50 Otages, and Place Bretagne (''Brittany square''). With a total height of , it dominates the skyline of the city of Nantes and is the third tallest building in France outside of Paris, after Tour Part-Dieu in Lyon and CMA CGM Tower in Marseilles. Built on the water tank, the antennas reach above the top floor. Initiated by André Morice then Mayor of Nantes, the building was conceived by French architect Claude Devorsine in the 1960s. The CMA CGM Tower is a 147 m tall skyscraper in Euroméditerranée, the central business district of Marseille, France. Designed by Zaha Hadid, it is the headquarters for CMA CGM, a major shipping firm, hosting 2,200 employees previously spread over seven sites. Zaha Hadid was selected to design the building in November 2004 and it became her first built tower.
