Tokyo Underground
is a Japanese manga series by Akinobu Uraku and published by Square Enix. It was adapted into an anime television series by Pierrot and directed by Hayato Date. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April to September 2002. The anime series was released on DVD by Geneon Entertainment in North America and released by Manga Entertainment in the UK and by Tokyo Night Train in Australia. It aired in Canada on the digital channel G4techTV, starting on July 22, 2007. It was also aired on ABS-CBN and Hero TV in the Philippines and Adult Swim in Australia. Akinobu Uraku
is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating ''Tokyo Underground''. Uraku won one of two grand prizes (the other winner being Diachiken Ise) at the 4th Enix 21st Century Manga Awards in 1997 for his work ''Yojō Mahō Shoriban''. This story was later published in the February 1997 issue of ''Monthly G Fantasy''. In 2002, ''Tokyo Underground'' was adapted into an anime television series aired on TV Tokyo. Hero (also known as Hero TV) was a 24-hour Philippine pay television channel created by ABS-CBN's narrowcast arm Creative Programs Inc. from 2005 to 2018. The programming was composed primarily of Filipino-dubbed Japanese anime series. It was dubbed as "The First and All Tagalog-dubbed Anime Channel in the Philippines." In February 2018, Hero was relaunched as a digital web portal operated by ABS-CBN Digital Media, providing limited news content on anime, pop culture and gaming. Sacrifice is the offering of material possessions or the lives of animals or humans to a deity as an act of propitiation or worship. Resurrection or anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death. In a number of religions, a dying-and-rising god is a deity which dies and is resurrected. Godai are the five elements in Japanese Buddhist thought of earth (''chi''), water (''sui''), fire (''ka''), wind (''fu''), and void (''ku''). The concept is related to Buddhist Mahābhūta and came over China from India.
