Tiffany Joh
Tiffany Joh (born December 8, 1986) is an American professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour and on the Symetra Tour. Childhood Joh was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to San Diego, California as a young child. Both her parents were born in South Korea and moved to the United States as adults. She attended Rancho Bernardo High School where she earned American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) HP Scholastic All-America honors. Amateur career In 2006 and 2008, Joh won the Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. She is one of five players in the history of the tournament to win the tournament twice. She was a member of the 2008 U.S. Curtis Cup Team In August 2007, she finished tied for 21st at the Safeway Classic on the LPGA Tour. Malignant Melanoma
Melanoma, also redundantly known as malignant melanoma, is a type of skin cancer that develops from the pigment-producing cells known as melanocytes. Melanomas typically occur in the skin, but may rarely occur in the mouth, intestines, or eye ( uveal melanoma). In women, they most commonly occur on the legs, while in men, they most commonly occur on the back. About 25% of melanomas develop from moles. Changes in a mole that can indicate melanoma include an increase in size, irregular edges, change in color, itchiness, or skin breakdown. The primary cause of melanoma is ultraviolet light (UV) exposure in those with low levels of the skin pigment melanin. The UV light may be from the sun or other sources, such as tanning devices. Lexi Thompson
Alexis Noel Thompson (born February 10, 1995) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. At age 12, she was the youngest golfer ever to qualify to play in the U.S. Women's Open. She turned professional in June 2010 at age 15. On September 18, 2011, Thompson set a then new record as the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA tournament, at age 16 years, seven months, and eight days, when she won the Navistar LPGA Classic. The Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. 2011 LPGA Tour
The 2011 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world that began in Thailand on February 17, 2011 and had its last official event end on November 20, 2011 in Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). South Shore Championship
The South Shore Championship was a golf tournament for professional women golfers on the LPGA Futures Tour, the LPGA Tour's developmental tour. The event was played in 2011 at the White Hawk Country Club in the Crown Point, Indiana area. The tournament was a 54-hole event, as are most LPGA Futures Tour tournaments, and included pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour as a benefit for local charities. The ING New England Golf Classic was an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the Futures Tour, the LPGA Tour's developmental tour. Futures Tour
The Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour, and known for sponsorship reasons between 2006 and 2010 as the Duramed Futures Tour and between 2012 and 2021 as the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour. Tour membership is open to professional women golfers and to qualified amateurs. History The Futures Tour was founded in Florida in 1981 as the "Tampa Bay Mini Tour".
