Alexis Noel Thompson (born February 10, 1995) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. At age 12, she was the youngest golfer ever to qualify to play in the U.S. Women's Open. She turned professional in June 2010 at age 15. On September 18, 2011, Thompson set a then new record as the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA tournament, at age 16 years, seven months, and eight days, when she won the Navistar LPGA Classic. The Pure Silk Championship was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Williamsburg, Virginia. The 72-hole tournament was held on the par-71 River Course at Kingsmill Resort, set at in 2013 LPGA Tour, 2013. Nicholas Thompson (golfer)
Nicholas Thompson (born December 25, 1982) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. Thompson was born in Plantation, Florida. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 with a degree in business management and was a member of the 2002 ACC championship team. He turned professional after graduating. Thompson won his PGA Tour card for 2006 by finishing third in the 2005 qualifying school. He made 15 of 32 cuts, with one top-10 finish in 2006 and lost his tour card when he finished 180th on the money list. In 2007, he played on the Nationwide Tour, winning once, the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship, and finishing sixth on the money list, thus earning his PGA Tour card for 2008. The Curtis Cup is the best known team trophy for women amateur golfers, awarded in the biennial Curtis Cup Match. It is co-organised by the United States Golf Association and The R&A and is contested by teams representing the United States and "Great Britain and Ireland". Laetitia Beck ( he, לטיסיה בק; born February 5, 1992) is an Israeli professional golfer. She made her professional debut at the 2014 Women's British Open. Beck has won the Israeli Open Golf Championship five times, including for the first time when she was 12 years of age. She also won gold medals in golf in both the 2009 and 2013 Maccabiah Games. The Women's Australian Open is a women's professional golf tournament played in Australia, operated by Golf Australia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia, long co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET).
