Thrice
Thrice is an American rock band from Irvine, California, formed in 1998. The group was founded by guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue and lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi while they were in high school. Early in their career, the band was known for melodic hardcore punk music based in heavily distorted guitars, prominent lead guitar lines, and frequent changes in complex time signatures. This style is exemplified on their second album, '' The Illusion of Safety'' (2002) and their third album ''The Artist in the Ambulance'' (2003). Their fourth album ''Vheissu'' (2005) made significant changes by incorporating electronic beats, keyboards, and a more experimental sound. In 2007 and 2008, Thrice released '' The Alchemy Index'', consisting of two studio albums that together make a four-part, 24-song cycle. Each of the four six-song EPs of the Alchemy Index features significantly different styles, based on different aspects of the band's musical esthetic which reflect the elemental ...

Beggars (album)
''Beggars'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Thrice. It was released digitally through Vagrant Records in the UK on August 9, 2009, and in the US on August 11, 2009. A physical release containing bonus material was released on September 15, 2009. Background and production Between September 2006 and June 2007, Thrice recorded a project revolving around the elements fire, water, air and earth. Dubbed ''The Alchemy Index'', it was released as two double-discs sets: '' Vols. I & II: Fire & Water'' in October 2007, and '' Vols. III & IV: Air & Earth'' in April 2008. Writing for ''Beggars'' began in January 2009, with the band aiming to make the record "a little more upbeat and energetic" following their two previous projects, ''Vheissu'' and ''The Alchemy Index'', which they felt had a "sleepy feeling" to them. Though Kensrue took a break from the writing process to go on a brief US tour later in the month. ''The Alchemy Index'' saw the group write to theme-specific el ...

To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere
''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' is the ninth studio album by American rock band Thrice. The album was released on May 27, 2016, through Vagrant Records. ''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' is Thrice's first release after a four-year hiatus that lasted from mid-2012 to mid-2015, and the band's first album of original material in five years since 2011's ''Major/Minor''. During the hiatus, most of the band members continued performing music and pursued other interests, which included moving to other cities or states with their new families. After reuniting and performing sporadic festival dates in 2015, Thrice announced the band's intention to release a new album the following year. Because of the distance between the members' new homes, the demos for ''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' were written, recorded, shared and worked on digitally using software programs that were not as prevalent before they went on hiatus. Produced by Eric Palmquist, the resulting recording was ...

UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. As of 2021, the OCC still only tracks how many UK Top 75s album hits and how many weeks in Top 75 albums chart each artist has achieved. To qualify for the Offi ...

Ultratop
Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. Ultratop charts The music charts produced by Ultratop organization are separated along regional-language boundaries, an unusual division that is justified by the cultural differences in Belgium. So it is that the mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region has one set of charts of record activity there, while the mainly French-speaking Wallonia region has another set to measure popularity in those provinces. The charts are broadcast on several Belgian radio statio ...
