The Voice Of Poland (season 1)
The first season of ''The Voice of Poland'' began airing 3 September 2011 on TVP 2. Based on the reality singing competition ''The Voice of Holland'', the series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. It is part of an international series. The series was won by Damian Ukeje, he was coached by judge Nergal. This is the only season to feature Kayah, Nergal and Ania Dąbrowska as coaches; they were replaced by Tomson & Baron, Marek Piekarczyk, Justyna Steczkowska and Patrycja Markowska. While Andrzej Piaseczny returned between season six and eight. Coaches and Hosts The Voice of Poland began airing 3 September 2011 on TVP 2. The judges were Andrzej Piaseczny, Kayah, Nergal and Ania Dąbrowska. Hubert Urbański and Magdalena Mielcarz hosted the show with Mateusz Szymkowiak as V-Reporter. Adam Darski
Adam Nergal Darski (born Adam Michał Darski, 10 June 1977), often referred to by his stage name Nergal, is a Polish musician and television personality. He is best known as the frontman of extreme metal band Behemoth. Career Nergal was born Adam Michał Darski in Gdynia, raised Catholic, and started playing guitar at age eight. He goes by the stage name Nergal (naming himself after a Babylonian deity), and he is the founder, lyricist, main composer, frontman and manager of the band Behemoth, which he started when he was still a teenager. He also plays lead, rhythm and acoustic guitar. For a brief time, he used the alias Holocausto, inspired by Beherit leader Nuclear Holocausto. In the late 1990s, he was a vocalist and guitarist of the Danzig-influenced band, Wolverine, which was showcasing Nergal's capability of clean singing. "I Say a Little Prayer" is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David for Dionne Warwick, originally peaking at number four on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 pop singles chart in December 1967. On the R&B Singles chart it peaked at number eight. Dionne Warwick original Intended by lyricist Hal David to convey a woman's concern for her man who's serving in the Vietnam War, "I Say a Little Prayer" was recorded by Dionne Warwick in a 9 April 1966 session. Although Bacharach's recordings with Warwick typically took no more than three takes (often only taking one), Bacharach did ten takes on "I Say a Little Prayer" and still disliked the completed track, feeling it rushed. The track went unreleased until September 1967, when it was introduced on the album '' The Windows of the World'' and it was Scepter Records owner Florence Greenberg rather than Bacharach who wanted "I Say a Little Prayer" added to that album. Ciechanów
Ciechanów is a city in north-central Poland. From 1975 to 1998, it was the capital of the Ciechanów Voivodeship. Since 1999, it has been situated in the Masovian Voivodeship.
