''The Amazing Race Canada 2'' is the second season of ''The Amazing Race Canada'', a Canadian reality competition show based on the American series ''The Amazing Race (American TV series), The Amazing Race''. Hosted by Jon Montgomery, it featured eleven teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race across Canada and the world. The grand prize included a cash payout, two Chevrolet Silverado#Third-generation Silverado / fourth-generation Sierra (K2XX; 2014), Chevrolet Silverado "High Country Edition" trucks, free gasoline for life from Petro-Canada, and the ability to fly for free anywhere for a year with Air Canada. Jon Montgomery
Jonathan Riley "Jon" Montgomery (born May 6, 1979, in Russell, Manitoba) is a Canadian skeleton racer and television host. He won the gold medal in the men's skeleton event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia. Despite hosting '' The Amazing Race Canada'' since 2013, he is best known in Canada for his spontaneous celebration after winning the gold medal in 2010, when he was caught on camera being handed a pitcher of beer by a fan while a crowd surrounding him cheered and sang ''O Canada''. Writing for CBC in 2020, Montgomery stated "If the beer is all I’m ever remembered for, I consider myself the luckiest fella on Earth." Ryan Steele (comedian)
The Ryan and Amy Show is a Vancouver-based Canadian sketch comedy duo composed of Ryan Steele and Amy Goodmurphy. They have toured Canada and the United States including doing Sketch Fest in Montreal and Vancouver as well as Just For Laughs. The group produces sketch comedy shorts that are distributed via YouTube and on their website, but have appeared on other sites as well such as Funny or Die. Meaghan Mikkelson
Meaghan Mikkelson (born January 4, 1985) is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of the Canadian national ice hockey team, currently affiliated with the Calgary chapter of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). Natalie Marie Spooner (born October 17, 1990) is a Canadian ice hockey player for the now defunct Toronto Furies, who played for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team from 2007 to 2008, and rejoined the program in 2010. Spooner was the first player to play for the Canadian National Women's Team, the National Women's Under-22 Team and its Under-18 Team.
