The Alps-Adriatic Working Group
Working Community of Cantons, Provinces, Counties, Regions and Republics of East Alpine Region or The Alps-Adriatic Working Group ( Croatian: ''Radna zajednica Alpe-Jadran''; German: ''Arbeitsgemeinschaft Alpen-Adria''; Hungarian: ''Alpok–Adria Munkaközösség''; Italian: ''Comunità di lavoro Alpe Adria''; Slovene: ''Delovna skupnost Alpe-Jadran'') is an international organization that promotes co-operation between the states of the Eastern Alps and the Northern Adriatic region in the field of tourism, environmental protection, culture, science, politics, economy and European integration. The initiative to establish the group came from Italy and the body was founded in Venice in 1978. It initially served as a common forum for subnational units of Austria, Italy and Yugoslavia. Koprivnica-Križevci County
Koprivnica-Križevci County ( hr, Koprivničko-križevačka županija ; hu, Kapronca-Kőrös megye) is a county in Northern Croatia. Its hyphenated name comes from two entities: the two of its largest cities, Koprivnica and Križevci; Koprivnica is the official capital of the county. The county also includes a third town, Đurđevac, but its population is much smaller than the main two (8,862 in 2001). Peter Kaiser (politician)
Peter Kaiser (born 4 December 1958) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party. Since March 2013 he is governor of Carinthia and since March 2010 also chairman of the SPÖ Carinthia. Education From 1978 to 1987 Kaiser worked as a contractual employee of the Carinthian state government, at the same time he studied sociology and education at the University of Klagenfurt. In 1988 he became '' Magister'' and five years later he was promoted to doctor of philosophy. Political career Kaiser took his first politician position in 1981 as chairman of the ''Carinthian socialist youth'', later in 1986 he became member of the Carinthian ''Gemeinderat'' and held this office until 1989.
