Terra Battle
''Terra Battle'' was a role-playing video game developed by Mistwalker. It was released for iOS and Android devices on October 9, 2014. It was produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the ''Final Fantasy'' series, with music by Nobuo Uematsu of the same series. Service for the game was discontinued in June 2020. Gameplay The game plays as a tile-based tactical role-playing game, with elements of collectible card games and puzzle video games as well. Development The earliest reports from the game come from June 2014, when Mistwalker trademarked the name ''Terra Battle''. The game was officially revealed through ''Famitsu'' on July 1, 2014. Mistwalker
is an independent video game development studio. The company was founded in July 2004 by Hironobu Sakaguchi, best known for his work at Square including creating the ''Final Fantasy'' series. PAX (originally known as Penny Arcade Expo) is a series of gaming culture festivals involving tabletop, arcade, and video gaming. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review. Yasunori Mitsuda
is a Japanese composer, musician, and sound producer. He is best known for his work in video games, primarily for the ''Chrono'', '' Xeno'', ''Shadow Hearts'', and ''Inazuma Eleven'' franchises, among various others. Mitsuda began composing music for his own games in high school, later attending a music college in Tokyo. While still a student, he was granted an intern position at the game development studio Wolf Team. Mitsuda joined Square upon graduation in 1992 and worked there as a sound effects designer for two years before telling Square's vice president Hironobu Sakaguchi he would quit unless he could write music for their games. Shortly after, Sakaguchi assigned him to work on the soundtrack for ''Chrono Trigger'' (1995), whose music has since been cited as among the best in video games. The series is a video game franchise developed and published by Square, and is currently owned by Square Enix. The series began in 1995 with the time travel role-playing video game '' Chrono Trigger'', which spawned two continuations, '' Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki'', and ''Chrono Cross''. A promotional anime called '' Dimensional Adventure Numa Monjar'' and two ports of ''Chrono Trigger'' were also produced. Yoko Shimomura
is a Japanese composer and pianist primarily known for her work in video games. She graduated from the Osaka College of Music in 1988 and began working in the video game industry by joining Capcom the same year. She wrote music for several games there, including ''Final Fight'', ''Street Fighter II'', and ''The King of Dragons''. Shimomura left Capcom and joined Square (now Square Enix) in 1993, with her first project there being ''Live A Live''.
