Tanveer Ahmed (born 1975) is a Bangladeshi born Australian psychiatrist, journalist and television presenter. Early life Ahmed was born in Bangladesh in 1975. He and his parents moved to Australia in 1981, and settled in Toongabbie, in the western suburbs of Sydney. He won a scholarship to Sydney Grammar School and went on to the University of Sydney, where he studied medicine, graduating in 2000. He also had a stint writing for the university's ''Honi Soit'' magazine. He represented the Australian Medical Association as the national representative for training doctors in 2006–07. Tanveer Ahmed ( ur, تنویر احمد; born 15 April 1976) is a football manager and former player who is the current head coach of WAPDA in the Pakistan Premier League. Club career Ahmed started his career at CMF Sialkot, where his defensive ability was brought to attention and soon was called up to the national team. He was transferred to WAPDA in the 2002 season, where he was given the captaincy and won the National Championship in 2003. In the new Pakistan Premier League in 2004, WAPDA were one of the favourites to win the title, but it took until the final day of the season before they were crowned champions. They lost the PPL the following year. Habib Tanvir (1 September 1923 â€“ 8 June 2009) was one of the most popular Indian Urdu, Hindi playwrights, a theatre director, poet and actor. He was the writer of plays such as, ''Agra Bazar'' (1954) and ''Charandas Chor'' (1975). A pioneer in Urdu and Hindi theatre, he was most known for his work with Chhattisgarhi tribals, at the Naya Theatre, a theatre company he founded in 1959 in Bhopal.
