Anima Roy
Anima Roy is a Bangladeshi academic and Rabindra Sangeet singer. As of 2014, she has been serving as a professor in the Music and Drama Department of Jagannath University. Early life Roy learned music from Debasish Chakrabarty, Sadhon Chandra Barman and Surbani Lalitakala Academy. Then she was trained under Waheedul Haq, Sanjida Khatun and Mita Haque. She completed a Rabindra Sangeet course from Chhayanaut. Career Roy is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Music of Jagannath University; previously she was a faculty at the Drama Department of the University of Dhaka. Alam Group of Industries. It is headquartered in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka, and is Bangladesh's first privately owned television channel to broadcast news and current affairs programming.
