Tanveer Ashraf Kaira
Tanveer Ashraf Kaira (born August 25, 1960), is a Pakistani politician. He is the former Finance minister of Punjab, Pakistan. He was elected as a Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He won again in 2008 as MPA and became the finance minister of Punjab after 2008 to 2011. Education Tanvir Ashraf Kaira graduated from F.G. College No. 1, Islamabad in 1981 and obtained the degree of MBA in 1984 from Sussex University, UK. Political career Kaira has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 and 2008, while he became the Finance minister of Punjab after 2008 elections. Gujrat City
Gujrat ( Punjabi and ur, ) is a city in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is the capital of Gujrat District and it is the 21st largest city of Pakistan by population. Along with the nearby cities of Sialkot and Gujranwala, Gujrat forms part of the ''Golden Triangle'' of industrial cities with export-oriented economies. History The area around Gujrat was settled during the reign of the Suri ruler Sher Shah prior to the Mughals. The area was named ''Khwaspur,'' in honour of Suri's Governor of Rohtas, Khwas Khan. Qamar Zaman Kaira
Qamar Zaman Kaira ( ur, ; born 5 January 1960) is the former Minister of Information and Mass-Media Broadcasting in the Government of Pakistan. He is Incumbent advisor on Kashmir Affairs to current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Before heading the ministry of Information, Kaira was the minister of the ministry of Kashmir and Northern Areas and later ascended as acting Governor of Gilgit–Baltistan in 2009. His career in the national politics started in 2002 on a platform of Pakistan Peoples Party and has pioneered many articles on political philosophy and raised a voice for democracy in the country.
