Tōzai Line (Sapporo)
The is a rubber-tyred metro line located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is part of the Sapporo Municipal Subway system. Its name literally means "East-West Line", and it runs from Miyanosawa Station in Nishi-ku to Shin-Sapporo Station in Atsubetsu-ku. Shin-Sapporo Station
is a railway station in Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by the Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) and the Sapporo Municipal Subway. The JR Hokkaido station number is "H05", while the Sapporo Municipal Subway station number is "T19". The name of the Sapporo Municipal Subway station is written "新さっぽろ駅", to differentiate it from the JR Hokkaido station. One-person operation (OPO), also known as driver-only operation (DOO), one-man operation (OMO), single person train operation (SPTO), or one-person train operation (OPTO), similarly to Driver Controlled Operation, is operation of a train, bus, or tram by the driver alone, without a conductor. On one-person operated passenger trains, the engineer must be able to see the whole train to make sure that all the doors are safe for departure. On curved platforms a CCTV system, mirror or station dispatch staff are required. SAPICA
is a rechargeable contactless smart card ticketing system for public transport in Sapporo, Japan. Sapporo City Transportation Bureau (SCTB) introduced the system from January 30, 2009. The name of the card means "Sapporo's IC card". is also the sound symbolic word for quickly pulling a card out and is the sound equivalent to "beep". The card is issued by , the third sector (half public) company of Sapporo City Government. The integrated service with Kitaca, a smart card system by JR Hokkaidō, was initially considered, but they decided to introduce the different systems because of the technical and financial difficulties. The is a railway line in Hokkaido operated by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido), connecting Numanohata, Tomakomai and Shiroishi Station in Shiroishi-ku, Sapporo, linking the Muroran Main Line and Hakodate Main Line.
