Turkish Basketball Second League
The Turkish Basketball Second League, also called TB2L, is Turkish basketball league system, the third-tier level league of professional club basketball in Turkey. The league was previously called the Turkish Basketball Third League (TB3L). Format and promotion and relegation There are a total of 15 teams participating in the league for the TB2L 2019–20 season. Each team plays each other in their group twice during the regular season. The top 8 teams from each group qualify to an elimination round (best of 3 games). Winners in elimination games qualify to the Quarterfinals (best of 3 games). Winners in the quarterfinals qualify to a final group (round robin). The top two teams in the final group are promotion and relegation, promoted to the Turkish basketball league system, second-tier level Turkish Basketball First League (TBL) for the next season. Turkish Basketball Federation
The Turkish Basketball Federation ( tr, Türkiye Basketbol Federasyonu, TBF) is the national federation for basketball in Turkey. It is headquartered in Istanbul. They organize the Basketball Super League, the Turkish Basketball Cup and the Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup. It is also responsible for appointing the management of the men's, women's and youth national basketball teams. In October 2016 Hidayet Türkoğlu was elected as its president. Eskişehir Basket
Eskişehir Basket was a professional basketball team based in the city of Eskişehir in Turkey. Their home arena was the Anadolu Üniversitesi Sport Hall with a capacity of 5,000 seats. Founded in 2006, the club played in the highest tier Basketbol Süper Ligi for seven seasons. It also played in Europe for one season, in the 2011–12 EuroChallenge. In July 2018, the club withdrew from the BSL and ceased its basketball activities.
