Trikarpur
Thrikaripur a small town located in south part of Kasaragod District in the state of Kerala, India. Its southernmost end Olavara touches Payyannur, Kannur District. Hosdurg
Hosdurg is one of four taluks that constitute the Kasaragod District, Kerala. Others are Kasaragod, Manjeshwaram and Vellarikundu taluks. In the north, it borders Kasaragod taluk; in south, the Kannur District; in the east, Vellarikundu taluk; and in the west, the Arabian sea. With an area of 900.3 km2 (90030 hectares), it was the smaller of the two taluks. Then Hosdurg bifurcated into Vellarikund and Hosdurg taluks in 2013 for ease of administration. Kanhangad and Nileshwaram are the municipalities within the taluk. ''Hosdurg'' (after which the taluk is named) is a kilometer south of Kanhangad town, the latter being the taluk headquarters. Other major settlements include Trikarpur, Cheruvathur and Udma. Bekal Fort tourism is situated in the taluk. Mohammed Rafi (footballer)
Mohammed Rafi (born 24 May 1982, Trikaripur, Kasargod) is an Indian former professional footballer who last played for Kerala Blasters as a striker in Indian Super League. Club Mohammed Rafi came through the ranks of SBT which had distinction of fielding not only all-Indian but also all-Malayali squad. SBT was promoted to first division of National Football League in 2004 and in that season he scored 4 goals and came into limelight. Unfortunately, SBT got relegated but he was roped in by Mahindra United for the next season. In 09-10 I-league, he finished the season with record 14 goals, which is best ever for an Indian striker, he was also adjudged Mahindra United's player of the year. Asif Kottayil (born 24 May 1985 in Trikaripur, Kasaragod) is an Indian footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Mohun Bagan in the I-League. Career Prayag United After playing college football at Payyanur College, Asif was signed by Malabar United of the I-League 2nd Division for the 2008 season. After two seasons with Malabar, Asif was signed by Prayag United who were then known as Chirag United, where he made just the one appearance in one season. Chirag United Kerala After one season at Chirag United, Asif joined Chirag United Club Kerala after Chirag Group who were sponsors of Chirag United dropped their sponsorship of the Kolkata club and took over Viva Kerala, renaming the Kerala-based club as Chirag United Kerala. Jamshad Cethirakath (born 11 December 1980), known by his stage name Arya, is an Indian actor and producer who predominantly appears in Tamil cinema. The decennial Census of India has been conducted 16 times, as of 2021. While it has been undertaken every 10 years, beginning in 1872 under British Viceroy Lord Mayo, the first complete census was taken in 1881. Post 1949, it has been conducted by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. All the censuses since 1951 were conducted under the 1948 Census of India Act. The last census was held in 2011, whilst the next was to be held in 2021. Kannur (), formerly known in English as Cannanore, is a city and a municipal corporation in the state of Kerala, India. Payyannur
Payyanur, , is a municipal town and a taluk, a sub-district administrative unit, in the Kannur district of Kerala, India. On 10 March 2018, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated Payyanur as the fifth taluk in the district. Payyanur taluk comprises 22 villages including 16 de-linked from the Taliparamba taluk and six from the Kannur taluk. The town is situated on the banks of the Perumba River.
