''Treasure Island 2023 (Treasure Island: Fans v Faves)'' was the seventh regular edition and the 13th season overall of the New Zealand reality-television series '' Treasure Island'' which returned to Mamanuca Islands, Fiji since the COVID-19 pandemic. Mamanuca Islands
The Mamanuca Islands () of Fiji are a volcanic archipelago lying to the west of Nadi and to the south of the Yasawa Islands. The group, a popular tourist destination, consists of about 20 islands, but about seven of these are covered by the Pacific Ocean at high tide. The islands offer crystal clear waters, palm fringed sandy beaches and live coral reefs. There are islands, villages, resorts to visit, snorkel and swim. Susan Devoy
Dame Susan Elizabeth Anne Devoy (born 4 January 1964) is a former New Zealand squash player and senior public servant. As a squash player, she was dominant in the late 1980s and early 1990s, winning the World Open on four occasions. She served as New Zealand's Race Relations Commissioner from 2013 to 2018. Early life and family Devoy was born in Rotorua, the youngest of seven children and her parents' only daughter. Her family, including her six brothers, also played squash and Devoy started playing when she was very young. Mount Maunganui
Mount Maunganui (, ) is a major residential, commercial and industrial suburb of the Tauranga metropolitan area, located on a peninsula to the north-east of Tauranga's city centre. ''Survivor NZ'' was a New Zealand reality game show based on the international '' Survivor'' format. The series premiered on 7 May 2017 on the TVNZ 2, which also holds the broadcast rights to ''Australian Survivor''. The show was renewed for a second season filmed in early 2018 and released on April 22. Following the basic premise of other international versions of the format, it features a group of contestants who are marooned in an isolated location, where they must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted out by their fellow contestants until only one remains and is given the title of "Sole Survivor" and awarded the grand prize. Joanne Monique "Joe" Cotton, is a Canadian-born New Zealand pop singer who gained recognition as a member of the girl group TrueBliss, formed in 1999 on '' Popstars''. The World Squash Championships are squash events for men and women organised by the Professional Squash Association. The men's event was first held in 1976 in London, England and the women's was inaugurated in 1976 in Brisbane, Australia. Overview The British Open had for many years been generally considered to be the sport's effective world championship, and this continued to be the case until the World Open (now called World Championship) was established. The women's World Championship was held once every two years until the early 1990s, when it became an annual event. ''Celebrity Treasure Island 2021'' is the 11th season overall, and the fifth celebrity season of the New Zealand reality-television series ''Treasure Island''. After a break in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fifth edition of ''Celebrity Treasure Island'' was filmed in the summer of 2021 on an island off the coast of Ngātaki, in Northland, New Zealand, instead of the usual location, Fiji.
