Trasona (in Asturian ''Tresona'', and officially Trasona/Tresona is one of seven parishes (administrative divisions) in the Corvera de Asturias municipality, within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. Its population is 2,103INE2011). Economy The main economical activity in Trasona is the industry, with the plants of Aceralia and Fertiberia as the most importants in the municipality of Corvera. In the town is located ''Parque Astur'', one of the most important commercial centres in Asturias. Trasona serves also as livestock zone. Sports In Trasona is located the Trasona reservoir which serves as a high performance centre, mainly for canoeing and rowing. Corvera De Asturias
Corvera de Asturias ( Asturian: ''Corvera'') is a municipality in the principality of Asturias in northern Spain. It shares a boundary to the north with Avilés and Gozón; to the east with Carreño and Gijón; to the south with Llanera and Illas and to the west with Castrillón. Its capital, Nubledo, has a population of more than 300 residents. Corvera is the most eastern of the four counties forming the Great County of Aviles. It is situated in the northern-central area of the Principality of Asturias. It is in size and has a population of over 16,000 residents, mainly concentrated in the villages of Las Vegas and Los Campos. The main roads to get there are AS-19, AS-17 and A-8. Aceralia
Aceralia was a large Spanish steel producer formed in 1997 by restructuring of a group formed from earlier mergers of the steel producers ENSIDESA and '' Altos Hornos de Vizcaya''. The company merged into Arcelor in 2001, and became part of ArcelorMittal in 2006. Rowing (sport)
Rowing, sometimes called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. It differs from paddling sports in that rowing oars are attached to the boat using oarlocks, while paddles are not connected to the boat. Rowing is divided into two disciplines: sculling and sweep rowing. In sculling, each rower holds two oars—one in each hand, while in sweep rowing each rower holds one oar with both hands.
