Traffic Sound
Traffic Sound was a Peruvian rock band founded in 1967 by Manuel Sanguinetti (vocals), Freddy Rizo-Patrón Buckley (rhythm guitar), Jean Pierre Magnet (sax), Willy "Wilito" Barclay Ricketts (lead guitar), Willy Thorne Valega (bass, d.2019) and Luis "Lucho" Nevares (drums). Manuel and Freddy had met in school and played in Los Hang Ten's, with the latter and his older brother Jose originally coming up with the idea of founding "Traffic Sound". Simultaneously, Magnet joined "Los Drags" as Barclay and Thorne played in "Los Mad's" with Nevares and, a while later, Thorne again playing in the short-lived (1965-66) Peruvian band "Ides of March" (not to be confused with the US band founded in 1966 The Ides of March (band), The Ides of March). Oslo, Norway
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Jaime Delgado Aparicio (1943 – March 28, 1983) was a Peruvian jazz pianist, arranger, and conductor. Career He was born in Lima, Peru in 1943. Braniff Airways, Inc., operated as Braniff International Airways from 1948 until 1965, and then Braniff International from 1965 until air operations ceased, was an airline in the United States that once flew air carrier operations from 1928 until 1982 and continues today as a retailer, hotelier, travel service and branding and licensing company, administering the former airline's employee pass program and other airline administrative duties. Inca Civilization
The Incas were most notable for establishing the Inca Empire in Pre-Columbian America, which was centered in modern day South America in Peru and Chile. It was about 2,500 miles from the northern to southern tip. The civilization lasted from 1438 to 1533. It was the largest civilization throughout the Pre-Columbian era. Psychedelia refers to the psychedelic subculture of the 1960s and the psychedelic experience. This includes psychedelic art, psychedelic music and style of dress during that era. Andean Music
Andean music is a group of styles of music from the Andes region in South America. Original chants and melodies come from the general area inhabited by Quechuas (originally from Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile), Aymaras (originally from Bolivia), and other peoples who lived roughly in the area of the Inca Empire prior to European contact. The Animals
The Animals (also billed as Eric Burdon and the Animals) are an English rock band, formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in the early 1960s. The band moved to London upon finding fame in 1964.
