Tracy Transit Center
The Tracy Transit Center is a bus station in Tracy, California, United States. The facility serves as a bus hub for transportation on local, commuter, and long-distance bus services. It also replaced the Naglee Park and Ride Lot "as the place for people to meet buses and vanpools" when the Naglee lot was sold for development in spring 2017, "after the city’s negotiations with several shopping centers near Interstate 205 proved unsuccessful." Tracer and taxi services offer local connections. Greyhound Lines also provides bus service to the transit center. Parking is offered for both bikes and vehicles and there are bus shelters and stops for transit. Although located in very close proximity to railroad tracks, there is currently no rail service to the transit center; Valley Link service is proposed to stop at a newly constructed train platform adjacent to the station. Tracer is the public bus system for the city of Tracy, California. Unique among transit agencies, since 2002 the service operates as free public transport every April and December. Operations The service provides seven circulator routes. The buses are designated by letters A through G. Fares range from free to $1.50 depending on the category. Most routes operate from approximately 7 AM to 7 PM weekdays and 9 AM to 5 PM on 30–60 minute headways. Service is provided to the Tracy ACE station and to West Valley Mall. Interstate 205 (California)
Interstate 205 (I-205) is an east–west auxiliary Interstate Highway in the San Joaquin Valley in Northern California. It runs from I-5 west to I-580. Along with those highways, I-205 forms the north side of a triangle around the city of Tracy. The route provides access from the San Francisco Bay Area to the northern San Joaquin Valley.
