Tracktor Bowling was a Russian nu metal band, formed in Moscow in 1996. History The band formed in 1996. In 2000, their demo-track record "Mutatsiya" ("Mutation") gained early success and netted them a budding reputation as leaders of the Moscow alternative rock scene. Their debut album was released in 2002. The band released five albums, one Live-album, one DVD and some singles. It is a popular modern Russian alternative metal band, alongside ones such as Amatory, Slot, Stigmata and others. Amatory
Amatory (commonly stylized as MATORY'', to fit their logo) is a Russian metal band from Saint Petersburg, formed in 1998 by Denis ''DENVERZhivotovsky and Daniil ''STEWARTSvetlov. Later in 1998, they were joined by Evgenyy PJ Potekhin but the official birthday of the band is April 1, 2001, when Sergey ''GANGOsechkin joined and the trio became a quartet. They are considered to be among the pioneers of Russian alternative metal but their musical approach changed over the years. Despite relatively little media exposure, Amatory has gained a huge following in a short time through their live performances in Russia, Eastern and Northern Europe, and Central Asia. Stigmata (Russian Band)
Stigmata is a Russian metalcore band based in Saint Petersburg that formed in 2000. History Stigmata was formed in 2002 by Taras Umansky (guitar) and Denis Kichenko (bass guitar) as a nameless band. The band got its name a few months later. Some journalists said that the name has a religious background. In 2004, Nikita Ignatyev (drums) and vocalist Artyom Lotskih joined the band. In the first time of being a band, the group organized concerts and a music video on their own. The same year, the band signed a recording contract with Russian music label Kap-Kan Records and recorded the first full-length album entitled ''Конвейер снов'' (English: ''Conveyor of Dreams''). Slot (russian: Слот) is a Russian metal band. Members of the group that include Daria "Nookie" Stavrovich, Igor "Cache" Lobanov, Sergey "ID" Bogolyubsky, Nikita Muravyov, and Vasiliy «Ghost» Gorshkov.
