Toxique
Toxique are a Czech musical group performing electronic pop music. History The group was founded by five graduates from Prague's Institute of Chemical Technology in early 2007, and the same year they played their first live show. Toxique's debut single, "Two Sides", took part in national selection for Czech's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Although it didn't make it to the semi-finals, it became a considerable hit, reaching no. 35 in Czech national airplay chart Rádio Top 100. Their debut album, eponymously titled ''Toxique'', was released in 2008 and peaked at no. 32 in the Czech Republic. In 2009, they released singles "Honey" and "eBay", which did not match the success of their debut song. 2010 saw the release of their second album, ''Outlet People'', preceded by the single "Shout" which made it to no. 52 in Rádio Top 100. Klara (stylized as KLARA., born Klára Vytisková; 3 May 1985) is a Czech singer. She was named Female Singer of the Year at the 2015 Anděl Awards. Katarzyna Magdalena Rooijens (née Szczot; born 5 November 1967 in Warsaw), professionally known as Kayah, is a Polish singer-songwriter performing a variety of music genres, including pop, soul, jazz, world and dance. She has also experimented with disco, funk, electronica as well as Balkan and Jewish music. Kayah released her first self-written album in 1995 and has since established herself as one of the most critically and commercially successful Polish singers. Febiofest
Prague International Film Festival - Febiofest is one of the largest film festivals in the Czech Republic and the second most prestigious festival in the country (after Karlovy Vary). The festival presents a wide spectrum of contemporary and retrospective examples of high-quality film including alternative, film-school and amateur works to a diverse viewing public. History The festival was founded in December 1993 in Prague by movie and television company Febiofest. The main personalities of the foundation were Fero Fenič and Pavel Melounek. Ewa Farna (born 12 August 1993) is a Polish-Czech pop-rock singer. She released five Polish-language and four Czech-language studio albums, and received platinum and gold certifications for them, both in Poland and the Czech Republic. Farna is the youngest commercially successful singer in the Czech Republic.
