Torget, Nordland
Torget is an island in Brønnøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies just off shore from the town of Brønnøysund on the mainland. It is connected to Brønnøysund by the Brønnøysund Bridge. There were 815 residents living on the island in 2015. The unique tall mountain Torghatten is the highest point on the island, located on the southern tip of the island. The mountain has a hole through the middle, so Torghatten is a popular tourist destination. It is estimated that there are on average about 100,000 visitors each year. Near Torghatten, there is a campsite where tourists can rent cabins or rent space for camping. There is also a small swimming area and a small restaurant right on the water. Previously, there was a restaurant further away from the bathing area that was severely damaged in a storm. Nordland

Torghatten
Torghatten is a granite dome on the island of Torget, Nordland, Torget in Brønnøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is known for its characteristic hole, or natural tunnel, through its center. It is possible to walk up to the tunnel on a well-prepared path, and through it on a natural path. On 6 May 1988, Widerøe Flight 710 from Namsos to Brønnøysund crashed into the side of the mountain, and all 36 passengers and crew died. Tunnel According to legend, the hole was made by the troll ''Hestmannen'' while he was chasing the beautiful girl ''Lekamøya''. As the troll realized he would not get the girl, he released an arrow to kill her, but the troll-king of Sømna threw his hat into the arrow's path to save her. Brønnøysund
Brønnøysund () is a List of towns and cities in Norway, town and the administrative centre of Brønnøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is also a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality within Nordland county. The village of Brønnøysund originally was declared a ladested in 1923 which made it an independent municipality. After merging with Brønnøy in 1964, it lost its town status. The Brønnøysund Bridge ( no, Brønnøysundbrua) is a cantilever bridge, cantilevered road bridge near the town of Brønnøysund in Brønnøy municipality in Nordland county, Norway. Kunnskapsforlaget () is a Norwegian publishing company based in Oslo. Kunnskapsforlaget was established in 1975, as a partnership between H. Aschehoug & Co. (W. Nygaard) and Gyldendal Norsk Forlag.
