Indrek Toome (born 19 September 1943) is a former communist Estonian politician and businessman. He served from 1988 to 1990, and was the last Prime Minister (head of the Council of Ministers) of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic. Early life Toome was born into a working-class family in Tallinn. He completed his studies in 1968 as an electrical engineer at the Polytechnic Institute in Tallinn (Estonian ''Tallinna Polütehniline Instituut,'' now Tallinn University of Technology). Joosep Toome
Joosep Toome (born 21 June 1985) is an Estonian basketball coach and former professional player who is currently an assistant coach for University of Tartu of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. Standing at 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in), he played at the center position. He also represented the Estonian national basketball team internationally. Professional career Toome began playing basketball with Kalevi Pojad junior team and TTÜ. He began his professional career in 2005 with Kalev of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. Kalev finished the 2005–06 season winning the Estonian Championship, after a 4–3 series win in the KML finals against University of Tartu. In 2008, Toome left Kalev and transferred to TTÜ. Koit Toome
Koit Toome (born 3 January 1979), is an Estonian singer and musical actor. He has twice represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest. In Eurovision Song Contest 1998, 1998 he finished 12th with the song "Mere lapsed". In Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, 2017 he sang a duet with Laura Põldvere, entitled "Verona (song), Verona". Career Koit Toome was discovered in the music school in 1994 by the music producer Mikk Targo who was initially planning to launch a solo career for Koit. Mart Toome (born 7 March 1980) is an Estonian stage, television, and film actor. Early life and education Mart Toome was born Enge, Halinga Parish, in Pärnu County in 1980. He is a 2002 graduate of the EMA Higher Drama School (now the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Tallinn under direction of actor, director and theatre pedagogue Elmo Nüganen.
