Timothy David Smith (born 21 January 1983) is a former English cricketer. Smith was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Smith made a single Minor Counties Championship appearance for Oxfordshire against Herefordshire in 2001. In this match, he was dismissed in Oxfordshire's first-innings for a single run by Paul Humphries, while in their second-innings he scored 41 not out. He also made 2 List A appearances in that season. The first of these came against the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board in the 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, which was played in 2001. In this match, he wasn't required to bat, with Oxfordshire winning by 5 wickets. In the 2nd round against Shropshire, he scored 12 runs before being dismissed by David Boden, with Shropshire winning by 8 runs. The 2002 Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 29 August 2001 and 31 August 2002. It was the second Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, following its change of name from the NatWest Trophy. The tournament was won by Yorkshire who defeated Somerset by 6 wickets in the final at Lord's. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. David Jonathan Peter Boden (born 26 November 1970) is a former English cricketer. Boden was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Eccleshall, Staffordshire. Boden made his debut in county cricket for Middlesex in a first-class match against Oxford University. In what was his only senior appearance for the county, Boden took 4 wickets in the Oxford first-innings, with Simon Almaer being his maiden first-class wicket. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress.
