Timoria
Timoria were an Italian rock group, active between 1985 and 2003. Career The group formed in Brescia in 1985 with the name Precious Time.Giancarlo Susanna. "Timoria". Gino Castaldo (edited by). In 1986 they adopted the name Timoria ("Vengeance" in Ancient Greek) and took part at Descomusic, a festival organized by the newspaper ''Giornale di Brescia'', winning the competition. Produced by former Litfiba member Gianni Moroccolo, in 1990 the band released their first album, ''Colori che esplodono'', which was both a critical and commercial success. The Sanremo Music Festival 1991 was the 41st annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, between 27 February and 2 March 1991 and broadcast on Rai 1. PolyGram N.V. was a multinational entertainment company and major music record label formerly based in the Netherlands. Litfiba
Litfiba was an Italian rock band formed in Florence, Italy, in early 1980. The band evolved from British-influenced new wave rock to a more personal rock sound influenced by Mediterranean vibes; their songs are mostly sung in Italian. History First era (1980-1989) The band was formed in Florence in 1980, and was named after the telex code for Via dei Bardi, Florence, where the band rehearsed (Località ITalia FIrenze Via dei BArdi). Jack Hirschman
Jack Hirschman (December 13, 1933 – August 22, 2021) was an American poet and social activist who wrote more than 100 volumes of poetry and essays. Biography Hirschman was born in New York City to a Russian Jewish family. He received a B.A. from the City College of New York in 1955 and an M.A. (1957) and Ph.D. (1961) from Indiana University. While attending City College, he worked as a copy boy for the Associated Press. When he was 19, he sent a story to Ernest Hemingway, who responded: "I can't help you, kid. You write better than I did when I was 19. But the hell of it is, you write like me. That is no sin. But you won't get anywhere with it." Hirschman left a copy of the letter with the Associated Press, and when Hemingway killed himself in 1961, the "Letter to a Young Writer" was distributed by the wire service and published all over the world.
