Thrikkovil Sree Padmanabha Swami Kshetram
Thrikkovil - Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, ( ml, തൃക്കോവില് ശ്രീ പദ്മനാഭ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം) is a Hindu temple with Lord Vishnu as the presiding deity, located at Vallicode village in Pathanamthitta District in Kerala, India. The temple comes under the Travancore Devaswom Board. As per local folklore, it is considered the second one of its kind after the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram. More spectacularly the 10-day festival includes Rupmani Swayambaram. In going with the simplicity and elegant architecture of temples in Kerala, the temple premises here present a very serene and spiritual outlook. There is a temple pond adjoining which abound with blooming lotuses. Vallicode
Vallicode (pronounced valli-koad) is a village in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala, India. It is situated at about 7 km from the district headquarters of Pathanamthitta at south-east direction. Geography The northern and southern sides of the village are protected by tall hills and a valley emerges in between the hills. The valley, decorated by tall trees and green vegetation descends to the paddy fields at the centre, which is watered by the stream originating from the hills, flowing through the heart of the village, like a life-line and reaches the Achankovil River. Pathanamthitta District (), is one of the 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala. The district headquarters is in the town of Pathanamthitta. Padmanabhaswamy Temple
The Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a Hindu temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala, India. The name of the city of 'Thiruvananthapuram' in Tamil and Malayalam translates to "The City of Lord Ananta" (The City Of the infinite Shesh Naag).
