Tom Hansen (Nebraska Politician)
Tom Hansen (born November 8, 1946) is a politician from the U.S. state of Nebraska. He served two terms in the Nebraska Legislature, from 2007 to 2015. Hansen was born on November 8, 1946, in North Platte, Nebraska and graduated from North Platte High School (Nebraska), North Platte High School in 1965. He then earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1970. He is married and has two children. He is employed in the administration of his family's cattle ranching operation. Prior to his election to the State Legislature, Hansen served on the board of the Twin Platte Natural Resources District. Hansen was elected in 2006 to represent the 42nd Nebraska legislative district, which consists of Lincoln County, Nebraska, Lincoln County. Thomas Blom Hansen (born 22 January 1958 in Frederiksvaerk) is a Danish anthropologist and leading contemporary commentator on religious and political violence in India. Background Hansen has a BA in Sociology and an MA in political theory from the University of Aalborg in Denmark. He then did development work in Orissa, India, in the mid-1980s. He became interested in anthropology during a PhD on Indian nationalism in Pune and Mumbai in western India, begun in the late 1980s when he was unexpectedly granted a research visa to study nationalism. He graduated from Roskilde University and his D.Phil. was later made into a book (''The Saffron Wave'', 1999). Hansen taught in the multidisciplinary International Development Studies program at Roskilde University until 1999, becoming associate professor. Thomas Hansen (13 February 1976 – 5 September 2007) was a Norwegian alternative country musician performing under the name Saint Thomas (previously St. Thomas). He became a musician after quitting his job as a mailman after hearing music from Elliott Smith and Will Oldham. He formed a short-lived band called Emily Lang before attempting solo work. His music caught the eye of a very small Norwegian label, which released 200 copies of his debut 7" "Songs," and the French label Darjeeling Sounds released his first proper album '' Surfer's Morning'' in limited numbers. Hansen's biggest break came shortly after Norway's Quart Festival in 1999, where he got signed to Racing Junior. Thomas Munkholt Hansen (born 25 March 1976) is a Danish former cricketer. In 1997, Hansen became the third Dane, after Ole Mortensen and Soren Henriksen, to play English county cricket when he joined Hampshire. His first-class career with Hampshire was brief, playing just four matches in three seasons. After leaving Hampshire, Hansen established himself as a regular in the Danish cricket team, representing it in the ICC Trophy and List A one-day cricket, until 2009.
