Thikkodi Drive In Beach
Thikkodi is a small village near Koyilandy in Kozhikode district of Kerala state, south India. Thikkodi is famous for a coconut nursery, which is 100 years old. The nearest city is Kozhikode, which is 35 km from this village. One can see remains of an old lighthouse in Velliyamkallu in Thikkodi. Thikkodi is also famous for its mussels (kallumakaaya). Thikkodi is the birthplace of well known Malayalam author P. Kunhananandan Nair, better known by his pen name Thikodiyan. He was a multi-faceted personality. Perambra is a major town in Koyilandy taluk of Kozhikode district in North Malabar region of Kerala state, India. It is one of the 140 assembly constituencies in Kerala, and one of the 12 block Panchayats in Kozhikode district. Perambra lies almost at the centre of the district. Thottilpalam
Thottilpalam is the second major town (after kuttiady) in north east of Kozhikode district, Kerala.State Highway 54 to Wayanadu district passes through this town. It is 29 km from Vatakara and 5 km from kuttiady. Thottilpalam is the main town in Kavilumpara panchayath. Town is situated at the bottom of kuttiady churam. Mananthavady is a municipality and ''taluk'' in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. Etymology The popular view on the etymology is that the word is derived from "Maane Eytha Vady" (English: "The place where an arrow was shot at the deer").
