Thierry Vermeulen
Thierry Vermeulen (born 29 July 2002) is a Dutch racing driver currently competing for Emil Frey Racing in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. He previously competed in the ADAC GT Masters, scoring a podium alongside Mattia Drudi. Early career Vermeulen began his racing career in 2020, competing for Team GP Elite in the GT4 CS class of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux. He would experience a dominant campaign, winning every race but one on his way towards the title. During the same year, he would also make an appearance in the GT4 European Series at Le Castellet alongside Max Koebolt. In 2021, the Dutchman would continue in Porsches, switching to the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux. He won a race at Assen and placed sixth in the standings. Other appearances that season included three drives in the 24H GT Series and a one-off in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. The 2021 24H GT Series powered by Hankook was the seventh season of the 24H Series with drivers battling for championship points and titles and the twelfth season since Creventic, the organiser and promoter of the series, organised multiple races a year. Giacomo Altoè
Giacomo Altoè (born 5 October 2000) is an Italian Lamborghini racing driver. Having previously competed in the Italian F4 Championship and TCR Middle East Series amongst others. Racing career Altoè began his career in 2015 in Karting. In 2016 he switched to the Italian F4 Championship making his circuit racing debut, during the season he took six points finishes, on his way to finishing twenty-second in the standings. He switched to the TCR Middle East Series for 2017, starting the season at the second round with Top Run Motorsport, before switching to Liqui Moly Team Engstler for the last round. He finished the season fifth in the standings, taking two podiums. 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup
The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup is the twelfth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup following on from the demise of the SRO Motorsports Group's FIA GT1 World Championship (an auto racing series for grand tourer cars), the fourth with the sponsorship of Fanatec. The season begins on 4 May at Brands Hatch, and will end on 13 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Calendar The calendar was released on 1 July 2023 at the SRO's annual 24 Hours of Spa press conference, featuring five rounds. Several adjustments were announced, including Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya joining the sprint schedule after being shuffled out of the endurance schedule, and the addition of Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours after a year away. The 2024 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters is the thirty-eighth season of the premier German touring car championship and also the twenty-fifth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. Hockenheimring
The Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg () is a motor racing circuit situated in the Rhine valley near the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, located on the Bertha Benz Memorial Route. Amongst other motor racing events, it has hosted the German Grand Prix, most recently in 2019. The circuit has very little differences in elevation. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license. History 1932–1938 Originally called "Dreieckskurs" (triangle course), the Hockenheimring was built in 1932. The man behind it is Ernst Christ, a young timekeeper who felt that a racing track should be built in his hometown of Hockenheim. Dries Vanthoor (born 20 April 1998 in Heusden-Zolder) is a racing driver from Belgium. He currently competes in the GT World Challenge Europe and ADAC GT Masters for Audi. He is the younger brother of Laurens, and was the winner of the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hour alongside Robin Frijns and Stuart Leonard. In 2019, he won the 2019 ADAC Total 24 Hours Nürburgring with Pierre Kaffer, Frank Stippler and Frédéric Vervisch. The Sachsenring () is a motorsport racing circuit located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. Among other events, it features the annual German motorcycle Grand Prix of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship. History The first race was held on 26 May 1927 on an layout on public roads, running also through the village of Hohenstein-Ernstthal itself. It was dubbed "Sachsenring" in 1937. Jack Aitken (Korean: 한세용, ''Han Se-yong''; born 23 September 1995 in London) is a British- South Korean racing driver who currently competes for Racing Team Turkey in the European Le Mans Series and for Emil Frey Racing in the ADAC GT Masters and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Albert Costa Balboa (born 2 May 1990 in Barcelona) is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in the Blancpain GT Series. Career Karting Costa started his international karting career in 2004, in the Copa Campeones Trophy for ICA Junior class karts, finishing in seventh position. He continued in the same class in 2005, with the exception of the Copa Campeones Trophy, where he competed in the ICA class. He finished seventh again in that race, adding a seventh in the Spanish ICA Junior Championship, a 27th in the Andrea Margutti Trophy, and 29th in the European Championship. Circuit Zandvoort
Circuit Zandvoort (), known for sponsorship reasons as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously known as Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, the Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix. History 1930s to mid 1980s There were plans for races at Zandvoort before World War II: the first street race was held on 3 June 1939.
