Theeyavan
''Theeyavan'' () is a 2008 Tamil language romantic thriller film produced, written and directed by B. Kathir. The film stars newcomer Sriranjan, newcomer Udhay and Midhuna, with newcomer Saritha, Radha Ravi, Kuyili, M. S. Bhaskar, Aarthi, Vennira Aadai Moorthy, Pandu, Nizhalgal Ravi and Ganeshkar playing supporting roles. The film had musical score by L. Vaidyanathan's son L. V. Ponnambalam (actor)
Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as ''Nattamai'' (1994), '' Muthu'' (1995) and ''Amarkalam'' (1999). Halwa Vasu
Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu. He was given the name "Halwa Vasu" after the film ''Amaidhi Padai'' (1994), in which he brings halwa which is adulterated with abin, a drug, by the antagonist in the movie who uses it to rape an innocent girl.
