The Voice Of Holland (season 3)
''The Voice of Holland (season 3)'' was the third season of the Dutch reality singing competition, created by media tycoon John de Mol and the first sophomore season ever of the show's format. It was aired from August to December 2012 on RTL4. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner. Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk, who was co-hosting season two, remained as co-hosts. Winston Gerschtanowitz was interviewing the contestants and their inmates backstage. Nick & Simon and Roel van Velzen returned for their third and final season as coaches, while Marco Borsato returned for his second season. Martijn Joop Krabbé (born 26 March 1968) is a Dutch radio and television presenter. Career Krabbé started his career in Dutch media as a 19-year-old in the Dutch TV programme "Popformule". Later, he hosted several Dutch television programmes, such as ''Idols (Netherlands), Idols'' (the Dutch version of ''Pop Idol''). ''The Voice of Holland'', also known as ''TVOH'', is a Dutch reality TV singing competition, that became a near global TV format franchise, created by media tycoon John de Mol and musician Roel van Velzen, in the Netherlands airing on RTL 4. For the first nine seasons, The Voice of Holland was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk. Starting from the tenth season (2019–2020), Wendy van Dijk was replaced by Chantal Janzen. The central focus of the show is the singing talent and quality of the contestants. Three or four coaches / jurors, themselves successful performing artists, train the talents in their teams, and occasionally perform with them. VanVelzen
Roel van Velzen (; born 20 March 1978), better known as VanVelzen, is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Besides being known for his short stature, he and his band enjoy a huge live reputation; they have played at virtually every festival in the Netherlands, shared the stage with Queen's Brian May, and supported Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi and German megastars Reamonn. He also had an international airplay hit when DJ Armin van Buuren remixed VanVelzen's song " Broken Tonight". Early life Van Velzen was born in Delft, The Netherlands. Ron Link (Nijmegen, 22 September 1979) is a Dutch singer and actor in musical theatre. Career He began his career as a model for a sauna promotion. In 2004, he competed in the Dutch version '' Idols'' where he managed to reach the final 10 but was ultimately voted off in the third round, making him the eighth finalist. Since then he has made numerous appearances on television programs in the Netherlands. In 2006, he was chosen in the TV show ''Wie Wordt Tarzan?'' (Who is going to be Tarzan?) to play Tarzan in the Dutch version of the musical. The program had one of the highest audience shares of any television program in the Netherlands. Sandra van Nieuwland (born 16 February 1977 in Delft), also known as ''Sandra Newland'', is a Dutch singer who gained national popularity after her participation in the third season of ''The Voice of Holland''. Treble (girl Group)
Treble was a girl group from the Netherlands. Career The group started in 1995 when Caroline Hoffman (born 7 March 1975) and sisters Niña (born 24 April 1985) and Djem van Dijk (born 23 January 1987) met during a party, where Caroline was performing with a friend. The parents of the van Dijk sisters asked Caroline to become the music teacher of the two girls. A close-knit group was born, starting with street concerts where they accompanied themselves with acoustic guitar and djembe. Angela Groothuizen (born 28 September 1959) is a Dutch singer, artist and television personality. Her initial fame came as a member of the Dolly Dots. Biography Angela Groothuizen was born in Alkmaar, and has four brothers and sisters.
