VanVelzen
Roel van Velzen (; born 20 March 1978), better known as VanVelzen, is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Besides being known for his short stature, he and his band enjoy a huge live reputation; they have played at virtually every festival in the Netherlands, shared the stage with Queen's Brian May, and supported Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi and German megastars Reamonn. He also had an international airplay hit when DJ Armin van Buuren remixed VanVelzen's song " Broken Tonight". Early life Van Velzen was born in Delft, The Netherlands. His father was a musician, and had a large influence on him as a child. On his sixth birthday, his mother's present was a drum kit. The young Van Velzen was actively involved in several bands at school and wrote music for the annual Christmas musical. "Broken Tonight" is a song by Dutch people, Dutch disc jockey and record producer Armin van Buuren. It features vocals and lyrics from Dutch people, Dutch singer and songwriter VanVelzen. The song was released in the Netherlands by Armind on 26 October 2009 as the second single from VanVelzen's third studio album ''Hear Me Out''. Baby Get Higher is a song written by Scottish musician, singer and songwriter David Sneddon. This song written by Sneddon with Graham Stack, Mark Read was his fourth single release and it was not featured on his debut album '' Seven Years - Ten Weeks''. The single was released on 27 October 2003 in the United Kingdom and charted at No.38 in the UK Singles Chart. David Sneddon (born 15 September 1978) is a Scottish singer, songwriter, musician and music producer of contemporary pop music. He began his career performing on stage and television, singing lead roles in stage musicals in Glasgow. In 2002, he won the first series of BBC One music competition ''Fame Academy.'' He released his first single "Stop Living the Lie" in 2003 which was a UK number one hit single selling over 250,000 copies, making it Britain's twelfth-highest selling single of 2003. Sneddon's debut album '' Seven Years – Ten Weeks'' was released in April 2003 and reached number 5 in the UK Albums Chart. ''The Voice of Holland'', also known as ''TVOH'', is a Dutch reality TV singing competition, that became a near global TV format franchise, created by media tycoon John de Mol and musician Roel van Velzen, in the Netherlands airing on RTL 4. The Golden Harp ''(Dutch: Gouden Harp)'' is awarded annually to Dutch musicians for their entire oeuvre. Golden Harps have been awarded 42 times. 149 different persons or (musical) groups have had the honour of receiving the award which is considered to be one of the most important prizes in Dutch music. Ben Saunders (born 9 July 1983) is a Dutch singer who won the first-ever title of the Dutch singing competition series ''The Voice of Holland'' broadcast on RTL 4.
