The Sonata (film)
''The Sonata'' is a 2018 mystery thriller film, directed by Andrew Desmond, from a screenplay by Desmond and Arthur Morin. It stars Freya Tingley, Simon Abkarian, James Faulkner, Rutger Hauer, Matt Barber and James Kermack. This was Hauer's final released film during his lifetime before his death the following year. It was released in the United States on January 10, 2020, by Screen Media Films. It grossed $146,595 at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics. Plot Rose is a young and talented English violinist, a rising star in the world of classical music. Her agent and manager Charles has been taking care of her since her mother's demise when Rose was just sixteen. Simon Abkarian
Simon Abkarian (Armenian language, Armenian: Սիմոն Աբկարյան, born March 5, 1962) is a French-Armenian actor. Life and career Born in Gonesse, Val d'Oise, of Armenians, Armenian descent, Abkarian spent his childhood in Lebanon. He moved to Los Angeles, where he joined an Armenian theater company managed by Gerald Papazian. He returned to France in 1985, settling in Paris. Freya Tingley (born 26 March 1994) is an Australian actress. Career Tingley's first professional role was "Young Joan" in Caryl Churchill's play '' Far Away'' for The Black Swan Theatre Company in 2008. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
