The One (Toronto)
The One is a supertall skyscraper currently under construction in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. When completed, it will be the List of tallest buildings in Canada, tallest building in Canada. At 338 metres (1,109 feet) and 94 storeys, it will be taller than First Canadian Place, which has been Canada's tallest building since 1976. It will also be Canada's first Supertall building, supertall (> 300 m) skyscraper, as defined by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Construction of the building is expected to be completed by 2024. Bloor Street is a major east–west residential and commercial thoroughfare in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bloor Street runs from the Prince Edward Viaduct, which spans the Don River Valley, westward into Mississauga where it ends at Central Parkway. A column or pillar in architecture and structural engineering is a structural element that transmits, through compression, the weight of the structure above to other structural elements below. Cantilever
A cantilever is a rigid structural element that extends horizontally and is supported at only one end. The Toronto Eaton Centre (corporately styled as the CF Toronto Eaton Centre since September 2015, and commonly referred to simply as the Eaton Centre) is a shopping mall and office complex in the downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
