Miseration is a Swedish death metal band formed in 2006. Their lyrics primarily deal with themes of inner struggles and religious conflict. The band is one out of a collection of collaborations with both former Crimson Moonlight guitarist Jani Stefanovic and former Scar Symmetry vocalist Christian Älvestam; for example, both also play with Solution .45. History Miserations' first album, ''Your Demons – Their Angels'', was released 20 September 2008. The band recorded their second album, titled ''The Mirroring Shadow'', at Panic-Room studios with producer Tomas "Plec" Johansson. It was released through Lifeforce Records on 16 November 2009. The band's third album, ''Tragedy Has Spoken'', was released in 2012. Their first album in ten years, ''Black Miracles and Dark Wonders'', is expected to be released on 22 April 2022. Lifeforce Records is a German heavy metal independent record label that specializes in metalcore and death metal. Christian Älvestam (Born 14 April 1976 in Sweden) is a vocalist, lyricist, guitarist, bassist and drummer for several bands from Sweden. He is, however, best known as the former vocalist for the Swedish metal band Scar Symmetry. He currently performs with several bands, including Solution .45, Miseration, Cipher System, Svavelvinter, Ill-Wisher, Pre-Human Vaults and has made several guest appearances for other music bands. He is most known in the metal community for possessing both an extreme clean singing range and an ability to make powerful growls. Jani Stefanovic
Jani Stefanovic (born 23 May 1979) is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist that primarily plays Swedish death metal. Jani started playing around the age of 13–14 years old. Personal life Jani was born in Gothenburg, Sweden to a Finnish mother and a Serbian father. He moved to Helsinki, Finland in 1993 with his mom, little brother and sister. Jani lived in Finland until 2000. Jani moved back to Gothenburg, Sweden in 2000. After joining Sins of omission in 2002 he moved to Stockholm. Jani is an educated chef. Jani Stefanovic is married to fellow artist Katja Stefanovic a singer songwriter from Finland. They have one daughter. Crimson Moonlight is a Sweden, Swedish unblack metal band. The band was formed in the summer of 1997 with the mere intention of recording a primitive old school black metal demo and playing one show before breaking up. However, the breakup never happened, and they have since recorded two EPs and three full-length albums. They were previously signed to Rivel Records, currently to Endtime Productions. They have toured US twice, and have been featured in two metal documentary films. Divinefire is a Christian metal group founded in the spring of 2004 by Finnish guitarist Jani Stefanovic, and Swedish singer Christian Liljegren. Liljegren is the current frontman of the band Narnia. Renascent is an unblack metal band that originated in Helsinki, Finland, and the core of the band now currently reside in Bloomington, Indiana. The band has released an EP titled, ''Demon's Quest'' in 2004 and a full length titled ''Through Darkness'' in 2005. The band released their sophomore album, ''Praise of the Lord God Almighty'', on 5 November 2016. The band is openly Christian. The band has been compared to Dimmu Borgir and Old Man's Child.
