Markus Heitz (born 10 October 1971) is a German fantasy, horror and science fiction author best known for his Dwarves series of novels. Biography Markus Heitz was born in Homburg, Germany, in 1971. He studied history, literature, and the German language. Dwarf (Germanic Mythology)
A dwarf () is a type of supernatural being in Germanic folklore, including mythology. Accounts of dwarfs vary significantly throughout history however they are commonly, but not exclusively, presented as living in mountains or stones and being skilled craftsmen. In early literary sources, only males are explicitly referred to as dwarfs, although they are described as having sisters and daughters, while both male and female dwarfs feature in later saga literature and folklore. ''The Dwarves'' is a fantasy tactical role-playing video game developed by King Art Games. It features music composed by Benny Oschmann. In the game, players must find their way through various maze-like, medieval environments while battling a variety of monsters using a wide array of weapons.
