The Brow
The Brow (formerly Brow Horn Orchestra) is a band from Fremantle, Western Australia. The recently reshaped band has transformed over the last two years in anticipation of new releases. Current members are Nicholas Owen (NDORSE), Ben Fear (Rogue Scholar), Karri Harper Meredith, Josh Ellis, Sam Timmerman, Josh Terlick, and Talia Hart. Biography Nicholas Owen and Karri Harper Meredith started playing together in 2007 as a busking duo performing on the streets of Fremantle in the business district. Their initial and primary aim was to raise money for expensive musical equipment to add to their live show and over the year slowly built up an impressive array of instruments, lights and PA gear excessive to the band's member ratio. The pair's first big show was in a band competition AmpFest, a great networking tool for The Brow to pick up some other gigs with local bands. Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. In the recording studio, Parker writes, records, performs, and produces all of the project's music. As a touring act, Tame Impala consists of Parker (guitar, vocals), Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser), Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals). The Nannup Music Festival (formerly the Southwest Folk Festival) is an Australian live performance music festival held in the small timber town of Nannup. Southbound was an arts, camping and music festival. A variety of Australian and international artists performed at this event. The festival occurred annually around New Years, at the Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton, Western Australia. History Southbound began as a single day music festival in 2005, located at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton, Western Australia. In 2006 the event expanded, allowing festival-goers to camp on the festival grounds. In 2007, campers were allowed to camp the night before the festival, with special acoustic performances that same night. Snowman (band)
Snowman was a band originally from Perth, Western Australia. They formed in 2002, relocated to London in 2008, and disbanded in 2011. History 2002-2005: Formation and ''Zombies on the Airwaves of Paris'' Snowman began playing together in various incarnations and under different names during their high school years. Joe McKee and Andy Citawarman met when they were fourteen years old; they began writing music together almost immediately. Olga Hermanniusson soon joined on Bass guitar and saxophone.
