Nannup Music Festival
The Nannup Music Festival (formerly the Southwest Folk Festival) is an Australian live performance music festival held in the small timber town of Nannup. Nannup is located in the centre of Western Australia's South West, on the banks of the Blackwood River and the Festival is held annually over the Labour Day long weekend in March. The thirtieth anniversary event is in 2020. The Festival is a community event operated by a Committee and a team of volunteers from the not-for-profit Nannup Music Club. South West, Western Australia

Blackwood River
The Blackwood River is a major river and catchment in the South West of Western Australia. Course The river begins at the junction of Arthur River and Balgarup River near Quelarup and travels in a south westerly direction through the town of Bridgetown then through Nannup until it discharges into the Southern Ocean at Hardy Inlet near the town of Augusta. Hardy Inlet has a number of islands – namely Molloy Island and Thomas Island. The mouth of the river has attracted interest in its various points of opening and closing over the last 100 years, Duke Head at the west side being a benchmark location for the shifting mouth. The river has 42 tributaries including Dinninup Brook, Balingup Brook, St John Brook, Boyup Brook, Tweed River, Ti Tree Gully, Christmas Creek and Tanjannerup Creek. The National Live Music Awards of 2018 are the third National Live Music Awards. The event took place on 6 December 2018. The event moved its gala event to Brisbane – following events in Sydney and Melbourne in the last two years. The 2018 event introduced a new award for ''Best Live Music Photographer in Australia'' and a ''Hall of Fame'' equivalent, titled the ''Live Legends''. ''Live Country or Folk Act'' was renamed to ''Live Country Act''. The state based ''All Ages Achievement'' expanded to all states and territories, from only NSW and Victoria in 2017. The National Live Music Awards of 2023 were the 6th annual National Live Music Awards. In December 2022, the National Live Music Awards (NLMAs) confirmed they will be back to celebrate the live sector in October 2023, after a two-year hiatus, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. ''The Music'', (formerly known as and now incorporating ''Drum Media)'', is an online Australian music magazine. It previously existed as a street press devoted to long-form music journalism and commentary, music news, and artist interviews. In its printed form, it was based in Sydney, NSW and distributed throughout Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Canberra, and surrounding areas. The magazine changed its name to ''The Music'' (incorporating Drum Media) in 2013, following the merge with two other magazines, Brisbane's ''Time Off'' and Melbourne's ''Inpress'', owned by Street Press Australia. In 2020 the print edition was paused. Drum Media ''Drum Media'' was founded in 1990 as a free weekly tabloid-sized music magazine (street press).
