Terry Norris (boxer)
Terry Wayne Norris (born June 17, 1967) is an American former boxer, prized fighter and a three time world champion in the light-middleweight (super-welterweight) division. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, he fought out of San Diego. Early years and amateur career A star baseball player during his high school years, Norris bypassed a career on the diamond for one in the ring, claiming an amateur record of 291–4, winning 4 Texas State Golden Gloves titles. Displaying a stunning combination of hand and foot speed as well as the ability to throw dizzying combos, Norris' athletic ability was an uncanny attribute in the ring. Luis Santana (boxer)
Luis Santana (born November 19, 1958 in La Romana, Dominican Republic), is a retired professional boxer who fought in the super welterweight (154 lb) division. He was the World Boxing Council's world Super Welterweight champion. Career Santana turned pro in 1981 and challenged Simon Brown for the IBF Welterweight Title in 1989, but lost a unanimous decision. In 1994 he got another title shot against WBC Light Middleweight Title holder Terry Norris and won the title when Norris was disqualified in the 5th round for downing Santana with an illegal blow to the back of the head or rabbit punch. After a lengthy delay, the ringside doctor ruled Santana unable to continue. Simon Brown (born August 15, 1963, in Clarendon, Jamaica) is a former professional boxer. Known as "Mantequilla", a name given to him by his famous trainer Jose 'Pepe' Correa, Brown was two-weight world champion in the welterweight and light-middleweight divisions, and at one point considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing. Maurice Blocker (born May 15, 1963) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1982 to 1995. He was a two-time welterweight world champion, having held the WBC title from 1990 to 1991, and the IBF title from 1991 to 1992. He also challenged for the WBC super welterweight title in 1993. Donald Curry (born September 7, 1961), is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1980 to 1991, and in 1997. He held the WBA world welterweight title from 1983 to 1986, the undisputed world welterweight title from 1985 to 1986 and the WBC light middleweight title from 1988 to 1989, and challenged once for the IBF middleweight title in 1990.
