Tero Arkiomaa
Tero Arkiomaa (born February 20, 1968, in Helsinki, Finland) is a retired Finnish ice hockey player. Playing career Tero Arkiomaa started his career near his birthplace Helsinki and played his first games in Tikkurilan Jääveikot, TJV Vantaa a lower league team in Vantaa region. Soon after his first full season in TJV Arkiomaa moved to Kuopio and played two seasons for KalPa which played in SM-liiga. After KalPa Arkiomaa played in Jokipojat, JoKP a Joensuu based team which gained promotion from Mestis, 1. Divisioona to SM-liiga during Arkiomaa's tenure. After good seasons with KalPa, Jokipojat, JoKP and a brief stint in SaiPa Tero Arkiomaa was contracted to Lukko, Rauman Lukko, an SM-Liiga team from Rauma, Finland, Rauma. In Lukko, Arkiomaa had some of his best seasons scoring points in bunches and getting National Team plays for Finland. Winger (ice Hockey)
Winger, in the game of ice hockey, is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is along the outer playing areas. They typically flank the centre forward. Originally the name was given to forward players who went up and down the sides of the rink. Wingers generally have the least defensive responsibilities out of any position on the ice, however they are still tasked with defensive duties such as forechecking duties or covering the point in the defensive zone. Nowadays, there are different types of wingers in the game — out-and-out goal scorers, checkers who disrupt the opponents, and forwards who work along the boards and in the corners. 1988 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 1988 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 12th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship and was held in Moscow, Soviet Union. Canada and the Soviet Union won the gold and silver medals respectively as the two nations redeemed themselves following their mutual disqualification in the 1987 tournament as a result of the Punch-up in Piestany. IIHF World U20 Championship
The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), or simply the "World Juniors" in ice hockey circles, is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world. It is traditionally held in late December, ending in early January. The tournament usually attracts the top hockey players in this age category. The main tournament features the top ten ranked hockey nations in the world, comprising the 'Top Division', from which a world champion is crowned. Riihimäki (literally "Drying barn hill") is a town and municipality in the south of Finland, about north of Helsinki and southeast of Tampere. Harry Harkimo
Harry Juhani "Hjallis" Harkimo (born 2 November 1953) is a Finnish businessman, sportsperson, and a member of the Finnish Parliament. Previously a National Coalition Party MP, he now chairs his own political party, Movement Now. First elected to the Parliament in 2015 representing NCP, his tenure in the party was cut short following his complaints about leadership in 2018. He then proceeded to establish and register his new political movement simply as an association due to strong disdain toward traditional party politics. Helsingin Jokerit (English: Jokers or Jesters) are a professional ice hockey team based in Helsinki, Finland. Tappara (; Finnish for "Battle axe") is a Finnish professional ice hockey team playing in the Liiga. They play at ''Tampere Deck Arena'' in Tampere, Finland.
