Teresa Viana
María Teresa Viana Aché (born 26 March 1993) is an indoor and field hockey player from Uruguay. Personal life Teresa Viana comes from a large family, being one of twelve siblings. Career Indoor Teresa Viana made her debut for the Uruguayan indoor team at the 2017 Indoor Pan American Cup in Georgetown, where she won a bronze medal. She went on to represent the team again at the 2021 Indoor Pan American Cup in Spring City, Pennsylvania. Field hockey Viana made her debut for the national team in 2012 during the inaugural season of the FIH World League. She was a member of the team at the 2017 Pan American Cup in Lancaster. The following year she won a silver medal at the 2018 South American Games in Cochabamba. The 2019 Pan American Games ( es, Juegos Panamericanos de 2019, links=no), officially the XVIII Pan American Games and commonly known as the Lima 2019 Pan-Am Games or Lima 2019 ( qu, Limaq 2019), were a multi-sport event governed by the Panam Sports Organization, were held in Lima, Peru from July 26 to August 11, 2019, with preliminary rounds in certain events having begun on July 24, 2019. These were the first Pan American Games to be held in Peru, and the seventh to be held in South America. The 2017 Women's Pan American Cup was the fifth edition of the Women's Pan American Cup, the quadrennial international women's field hockey championship of the Americas organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. It was held between 5 and 13 August 2017 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, simultaneously with the men's tournament. The tournament doubled as the qualifier for two major international tournaments: the winner qualified directly to the 2018 World Cup, and the two teams not qualifying through the 2018 South American Games or the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games to be held in Lima, Peru.
