Tekken Advance
is a fighting game released for the Game Boy Advance. It is non-canonical to the ''Tekken'' storyline, but follows the events of ''Tekken 3''. It uses sprites based on ''Tekken 3'' 3D models for its characters. It was the first Tekken game to be released on a Nintendo platform. Gameplay The gameplay in ''Tekken Advance'' is similar to other games in the series, but because it is on a portable system, the inputs were simplified or removed altogether. It utilizes a single-input system, with kick mapped to the A button, punch to the B button, and the left and right triggers used for tagging and throws, respectively. The game also included a side-step feature. Despite the simplification, ''Tekken Advance'' introduces new mechanics by implementing a wide range of "stun" variations such as "pop stuns", "crumple stuns" and right/left stuns. Heihachi Mishima
is a Character (arts), fictional character of Bandai Namco Studios, Bandai Namco's ''Tekken'' fighting game series, serving as its main antagonist. Introduced as the boss character from the first ''Tekken (video game), Tekken'' video game from 1994, Heihachi appears as the leader of a military firm known as the Mishima Zaibatsu. He was the protagonist of ''Tekken 2'' and ''Tekken 7'' whereas he was a boss character in two additional installments. He is opposed by many of his relatives who wish for his death out of revenge and to take over the Zaibatsu. This happens across the series and one of the creators of ''Tekken'' Katsuhiro Harada has called it a "family feud". Heihachi wants to defeat his son and grandson, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama respectively. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources. is the name of two fictional characters in the ''Tekken'' fighting game series. The characters were inspired by the professional wrestling, pro wrestler Satoru Sayama, as well as Mexican wrestler Fray Tormenta, a Holy Orders, Catholic priest who became a masked wrestler in order to support an orphanage. Making his debut in the original ''Tekken'' in 1994, he is the only character to appear as playable in every installment of the main series. is a fictional character from the ''Tekken'' fighting game series released by Namco Bandai Games. Hwoarang first appeared in ''Tekken 3'' and he has returned in all subsequent games. is a fictional character from Namco's ''Tekken'' fighting game series. A cold-blooded Irish professional assassin, Nina made her first appearance in ''Tekken'', the original game in the series.
