Trelleborg
Trelleborg () is a town in Skåne County, Sweden, with 43,359 inhabitants as of December 31, 2015. It is the southernmost town in Sweden located some west from the southernmost point of Sweden and the Scandinavian peninsula. The 2021 Swedish Golf Tour, branded the Nordic Golf Tour, was the 36th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. The tournaments also featured on the 2021 LET Access Series (LETAS). Schedule The schedule had a reduced number of tournaments and was subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Linda Wessberg
Linda Maria Wessberg (born 13 June 1980) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour, where she has three victories. She represented Europe at the 2007 Solheim Cup. Early life and amateur career Wessberg was born in Gothenburg and as a junior was attached to Delsjö Golf Club, to later join Hills Golf Club. In 2001 she won the Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship, and was part of the winning Swedish National team at the 2001 European Ladies' Team Championship in Galicia, Spain. She spent four years at Oklahoma State University and majored in General Business and minored in Economics. Linn Maria Grant (born 20 June 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour. As an amateur, she won the 2017 Ladies' British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and was in contention at the 2018 and 2020 U.S. Women's Open. Family and early years Grant is the grand-daughter of James Grant, a Scottish golf professional who emigrated from Inverness in Scotland to Helsingborg in Sweden. The 2020 Swedish Golf Tour was the 35th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. Schedule The season saw an attempt to rebrand the existing set of tournaments as a pan- Nordic tour, and launch the Nordic Golf Tour (NGT). However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the events outside Sweden were cancelled and the remaining Swedish events were removed from the 2020 LET Access Series (LETAS) schedule.
