The 2021 Swedish Golf Tour, branded the Nordic Golf Tour, was the 36th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. The tournaments also featured on the 2021 LET Access Series (LETAS). Schedule The schedule had a reduced number of tournaments and was subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lily May Humphreys
Lily May Humphreys (born 14 March 2002) is an English professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She won the 2017 Girls Amateur Championship and the 2023 Joburg Ladies Open. Amateur career Humphreys had a successful amateur career. She won the Fairhaven Trophy in 2016 and the Girls Amateur Championship, English Women's Amateur Championship, and the Junior Orange Bowl International in 2017. In 2018 she won the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open Championship and in 2019 she won the Irish Women's Open Stroke Play Championship and the Welsh Ladies Open Stroke Play Championship back to back. 2021 Ladies European Tour
The 2021 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with many tournaments either being postponed or cancelled. Among the cancellations was the Australian Swing, the tour's season opening. Schedule The table below shows the 2021 schedule. The season featured a month-long European Swing of the LPGA Tour, starting with the Evian Championship in late July. It also saw the introduction of the Aramco Team Series, four tournaments carrying a $1 million total prize fund each held in London, Sotogrande and New York, concluding in Saudi Arabia in November. Skaftö Open
The Skaftö Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tournament is played in Sweden at Skaftö Golf Club in Fiskebäckskil, north of Gothenburg. It was first played on the Swedish Golf Tour in 2018, before being elevated to the LET Access Series in 2019 and to the LET in 2021, the second of three LET events in Sweden that season. Maja Stark
Maja Sofia Stark (born 10 December 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer. She has six Ladies European Tour titles and earned LPGA Tour membership through her victory at the 2022 ISPS Handa World Invitational. As an amateur she was in contention at the 2020 and 2021 U.S. Women's Open, and after turning professional in August 2021 she won two tournaments in three starts on the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Stark grew up in Abbekås, Skåne County, and joined the Swedish National Team in 2016. She represented her country at the European Girls' Team Championship, where Sweden won the silver in 2016 and the gold in 2017. The Swedish PGA Championship for women is a golf tournament played annually in Sweden since 1997. It has been an event on the Swedish Golf Tour (women), Swedish Golf Tour since inception and featured on the LET Access Series since 2012. The 2020 Swedish Golf Tour was the 35th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. Schedule The season saw an attempt to rebrand the existing set of tournaments as a pan- Nordic tour, and launch the Nordic Golf Tour (NGT). However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the events outside Sweden were cancelled and the remaining Swedish events were removed from the 2020 LET Access Series (LETAS) schedule.
