Ted Robinson (golf Course Architect)
Theodore G. Robinson (May 17, 1923 – March 2, 2008) was an American golf course architect. Born in Long Beach, California, Robinson was an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, University of California in Berkeley, California, Berkeley and received a master's degree in planning from the University of Southern California in 1948. He established his golf course architecture practice in 1954 and continued working there for over fifty years. Robinson joined the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) in 1973, served as president from 1983 to 1984, and ascended to ASGCA Fellow in 1995. Robinson designed over 160 golf courses in his career, mostly in the Western United States, western United States (including Hawaii), Mexico, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. Ted Robinson (sportscaster)
Theodore Robinson (born July 19, 1957) is an American sportscaster. Since 2000, Robinson has been with NBC Sports as a play-by-play announcer for tennis and Olympic swimming/diving and with NBC Sports Network calling college football and basketball. He also works for the Tennis Channel and the Pac-12 Network and was the radio play-by-play announcer for the San Francisco 49ers from 2009 until 2018. Biography Early life Ted Robinson grew up in Rockville Centre, New York, and attended Chaminade High School. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he worked with future U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly and future Notre Dame football coach Charlie Weis at the college radio station. Ted Robinson (born 1944) is an Australian television producer and director who is best known for his work and a director and producer of live TV comedy. Career Robinson began his TV career at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, working on ''The Aunty Jack Show'', under the tutelage of series director Maurice M. Murphy. His TV directorial debut was in 1973, with the ABC sitcom '' Our Man in the Company''. In 1974 he took over from Murphy as director of the two Aunty Jack spinoff series, ''Wollongong the Brave'' and '' Flash Nick from Jindavik''. During the late 1970s he also co-hosted a regular radio show on Double Jay (2JJ) in Sydney, with actor Lex Marinos. Ted Robinson (footballer)
Edward Robinson (27 September 1903 – 28 July 1972) was an English professional footballer who played as a full-back for Southampton, Southport and Wigan Athletic. Football career Robinson was born in Hindley, near Wigan and in his youth played football for several clubs in the area before joining Chorley of the Lancashire Combination in 1925. In August 1927, he moved to the south coast to join Southampton of the Football League Second Division. He spent most of his time with the Saints in the reserves, making 67 appearances in his year at The Dell. His only first-team appearance came on 31 December 1927, when he took the place of Ted Hough at right-back for the game at Stoke City; the match was lost 2–1. In the summer of 1928, Robinson was released and returned to Lancashire to join Southport of the Football League Third Division North, where he remained for five years, making 108 league appearances, scoring six goals.
