Technoboy
Cristiano Giusberti (born December 19, 1970), known by his primary stage name Technoboy, is an Italian hardstyle DJ and producer from Bologna. Technoboy is a DJ and producer, who started out by playing vinyl in 1992. The genre he primarily plays is Hardstyle. Cristiano's not only busy DJing, most of the time he's managing as well as producing for 'The Saifam Group' (Italy) which is a reputable record company. He began in 1992 as A&R manager at 'RECORD 66 Music Market for DJs', which he still manages today. He then started in 1996 as Producer and A&R at 'Arsenic Sound' until 1998, when he became a producer at ' The Saifam Group' and ever since 1999 he's A&R at the 'Alternative Sound Planet' label. Lento Violento
Lento violento, sometimes shortened to simply lento, is a style of electronic dance music that developed in Italy. Its name means ''slow (and) violent'', as this style typically has a tempo between 85 and 115 BPM. It consists of a hard kick, like the ones present in hardcore or hardstyle, but played at a very slow tempo, with vocal samples and dark and acid sounds or loops. Origins The first tracks with the lento violento sound were "Anima Ladina" by Ottomix (1991), "Panic Mouse (stress mix)" by Gigi D'Agostino (1996), "Ibiza" by Ottomix (1998) and Alex Castelli's "Enjoy", that was co-produced by Ottomix. Although at that time, they were not called "lento violento" yet. These tracks were influenced by the more techno and trance-oriented tracks like Mauro Picotto's "Lizard", "Iguana", "Pulsar", "Tuttincoro" or "Raggattak" by Joman (Joy Kitikonti), all from the Italian BXR label. SAIFAM
The SAIFAM Group is the biggest Italian record label and production company featuring hardstyle, Italo dance, Eurodance, Hi-NRG, pop and fitness music genres. History The outfit was started by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente, a production duo who produced more than 1,000 tracks, selling over ten million albums worldwide. In 1981, they created the Factory Sound Studio and the SAIFAM Group. The pair have been recognized as founders of HI-NRG, the genre in which they achieved their first gold records, thanks largely to localized translations of their songs in the Asian market. In the early 1990s, their hits included "What's Up" by DJ Miko, "Moments in Soul" by JT and the Big Family, and "Venus" by Don Pablo's Animals, which entered the European and American charts. ID&T is a Dutch entertainment and medium enterprise that was founded in the early 1990s. Their event Mysteryland is named the oldest electronic festival in the Netherlands, with later events like Trance Energy and Sensation. It operates many of the largest electronic dance music events in the world. They were also involved in the editions of Tomorrowland up until 2013.
