The coat of arms of Denmark ( da, Danmarks rigsvåben) has a lesser and a greater version. The state coat of arms () consists of three pale blue lion (heraldry), lions attitude (heraldry)#Passant, passant wearing crown (heraldic charge), crowns, accompanied by nine red lilypads (normally represented as seeblatt, heraldic hearts), all in a golden shield with the Danish Crown Regalia, royal crown on top. Morten Bødskov (born 1 May 1970 in Karup) is a Danish Social Democrats (Denmark), Social Democratic politician, and member of the Folketing, currently serving as the Minister for Business since 2022. He previously served as Minister of Defence (Denmark), Minister of Defence from February to December 2022 and Minister for Taxation (Denmark), Minister for Taxation under Frederiksen and Minister of Justice (Denmark), Minister of Justice in the Government of Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Folketing
The Folketing ( da, Folketinget, ; ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark—Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Established in 1849, until 1953 the Folketing was the lower house of a bicameral parliament, called the Rigsdag; the upper house was Landstinget. It meets in Christiansborg Palace, on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen. The Folketing passes all laws, approves the cabinet, and supervises the work of the government. It is also responsible for adopting the state's budgets and approving the state's accounts. As set out in the Constitution of Denmark, the Folketing shares power with the reigning monarch.
