Taoyuan International Airport Access MRT System
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), commonly known as the Airport MRT, is a rapid transit line of Taoyuan Metro that connects the municipalities of Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan with Taoyuan International Airport. The line, from Taipei Main Station to , has 21 stations and began commercial service on 2 March 2017. The line features Commuter and Express services as well as in-town check-in and baggage check at Taipei Main Station and at . An extension to Zhongli railway station via from the current terminus at is under construction, with the Laojie River metro station scheduled to open in July 2023 and the full extension scheduled for completion in 2028. Taoyuan Metro
The Taoyuan Metro (formerly Taoyuan Rail Transit and officially Taoyuan Mass Rapid Transit System) is a rapid transit system serving Taoyuan City in Taiwan. The most recently proposed network includes 11 lines and extensions, of which 2 are now under construction. The Taoyuan Airport MRT (Taipei Main Station - Huanbei) is the only line currently in operation. Guishan District
Guishan District () is a district in northeastern Taoyuan City, Taiwan. History Guishan was formerly known as ''Kulunsia'' ( (Ku-lun-siā))). The name originated from a hill by the Mercy Buddha Temple of Shou Shan Rock, built in 7th year of the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty. Sanchong District
Sanchong District () is a district in the western part of New Taipei City, Taiwan. With an area of 16.32 km2 and a population of 378,736 people (2022), it has the fourth highest population density in Taiwan and 23rd highest in the world, with over 23,900 people per km2. Laojie River () is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is scheduled to open for commercial service in July 2023. Taipei Main Station (Taoyuan Metro)
Taipei Main Station is the eastern terminus of the Taoyuan Airport MRT in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. Located roughly west of Taipei railway station and east of Beimen metro station, the station is connected to the Taipei railway station through a long underground walkway, and to Beimen station through another underground walkway. Taipei Main Station () is a railway and metro station in Taipei, Taiwan. It is served by Taiwan High Speed Rail, the Taiwan Railways Administration, and the Taipei Metro. It is also connected through underground passageways to the terminal station of Taoyuan Airport MRT and the Taipei Bus Station. In 2017, it was the busiest station on all three rail systems, with a total of 190 million entries and exits.
