Tanmay Agarwal
Tanmay Dharamchand Agarwal (born 3 May 1995) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Hyderabad. A left-handed top-order batsman, Agarwal has represented Hyderabad at various age-group levels such as Under-14, Under-16, Under-19, Under-22 and Under-25. He scored centuries on both his first-class and List A cricket debuts for Hyderabad in 2014. He currently leads the Hyderabad Cricket team . In February 2017, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for 10 lakhs. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The 2017 season of the Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 10 and branded as Vivo IPL 2017, was the tenth edition of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the BCCI in 2007. The tournament featured the eight teams that played in the previous season. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs.
